We made it a tradition to drive up to the Northeast Kingdom (from Burlington), go for a hike and come here for pizza after. This place is truly a hidden gem with great local beer options and AMAZING pizza (including a gluten free option). My favorite is the Green Mountain Special, which comes with spinach, red onion, bacon, apple, garlic, cheddar and maple syrup. Yes, it's as good as it sounds.

I've eaten here half a dozen times over the last few years, so my review is based on the patterns I've observed.

Best restaurant in a large radius. The pies are awesome but so is the beer and the setting. A must

Second, this is a place for awesome craft beers, especially Hill Farmstead from nearby Greensboro. It's not the run of the mill "two guys decided they could make beer and opened a brewery" ho-hum 5.5% ABV IPA. And it's not the place for Bud or Miller Lite. The prices reflect that.

First-plan on taking awhile to get your food. It's artisan pizza coming from a rather small kitchen. The Green Mountain Special is the best pizza I've had anywhere, and it's worth the wait. They did misplace our order one time, which resulted in a VERY long wait. When we asked about our order, they figured out what happened, the gave us the pizza for free. The made a mistake, but we found a fair resolution.

Nachos are great. Who'd a thought - great nachos in Vermont. These compare well to Texas or California nachos. The wings are also very good. Someday I may try their pizza. Nah, the nachos and wings are too good to deviate to pizza.

Third, it's right next to a dairy farm and often smells like it. If you don't like that, then go find some chic hole in a back alley in Metropolis. Instead of cow urine, you can smell the human urine from the alley. I personally love the vibe of the place and wouldn't change a thing.

The green mountain specail pizza was great. The taplist only had several beers. But the beers they had were very impressive. Staff was also very friendly
